Is Landstar responsible for a trailer?

Landstar trucking company pays the insurance, upkeep and maintenance on the trailer. There is no rental fee for leasing a van. However, if an owner operator chooses a company flatbed or stepdeck, there will be a weekly trailer rental fee equipment.
